Cultivating Black Wealth in Place is a preservation initiative focused on helping West End and Visitation Park residents in St. Louis build wealth so they can afford to stay and grow in their neighborhood. They hired JEME and ThirdSpace Labs, our socioeconomic research and urban planning partner, to build communications about learnings from their 3-year pilot program that uses direct investment in households as an anti-displacement strategy. The client, InvestSTL, is looking to share their findings with other organizations and establish the program as a model for communities across the country.
